This is seen in our state of the art generators, our sewage treatment system and our commitment to planting the school with local flora and trees. Careful recycling practices within the school ensure that we help the environment rather than add to its depletion.

Velammal extents its facility to e-library which will serve as a collection of sources, resources, and services. It is framed for the student’s benefit to use  maps, prints, documents, microform (microfilm/microfiche), audio tapes, CDs, cassettes, videotapes, DVDs, video games, e-books, e-audio books and many other electronic resources.

AUDITORIUM
Velammal facilitates a vast auditorium which is   air conditioned with a seating capacity of 2000 and a seminar hall of 500 seating capacity with latest multi-media tools with clear transmission sounds. Using the advanced communication technology, our students will facilitate themselves to interact with the eminent professionals.

SWIMMING POOL                           
In our school premises, we have a vast, chemical free swimming pool in a safe and congenial atmosphere which makes the students feel fresh in the pure water. Swimming pool water must maintain low levels of bacteria and viruses to prevent the spread of diseases among users. Swimming materials are provided according to the requirements of the children.  It is purely to the interest of the students

HEALTH CENTER
Velammal provides an intensive , serene  health center in the campus  to promote sound health and diseased free children.   We have the best and renowned dietician who formulates the regular diet charts of the children and regulates their balanced growth for their over all well- being. It includes physical fitness, nutrition, hygiene, personal grooming, health education, health assessment, prevention of diseases and their treatments.

COUNSELLING CENTER
The student counsellors on the campus provide a confidential and professional service conveniently accessible to all the students. It is possible to choose either a male or a female counsellor for discussion and advice on any issues of concern in a relaxed and non- judgemental setting. It makes the children capable of facing numerous challenges in life and carve out the future for themselves.

CAREER COUNSELLING
We understand that students require counselling at various stages of their lives, especially when they have just made a career decision or  about to make a career decision.  Career counselling  centers are more effective where students can get updated information on various career avenues in chosen field. Under this project, the team of counsellors visits different schools and Activities like career guidance presentations, free self-assessment tests etc, are arranged to administer career guidance.
